Phyllis Sutton Obituary
As a child, Jeannine contracted polio but persevered to overcome many physical and emotional challenges. She was active in philanthropy and church activities throughout her life. Jeannine's primary source of enjoyment was spending time with her husband, friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone her kindness touched.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Cora, brothers Jim, Joe and Don, her husband of 67 years Robert F. Sutton and her daughter Roni Turk. She is survived by her sister Carol King, daughters Dorinda Sutton and Amy Smith, son Robert A. Sutton, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25th with visitation from 10-11 followed by service presided by Pastor Scott Phillips at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1441 North East Englewood Road, Kansas City, MO 64118.
Donations in Jeannine Sutton's name can be sent to Children's Mercy Hospital or Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.
