Lemar, Belinda, Deon and Adrian we are sadden to hear of the passiong of Pastor Higgs, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I hear Pastor Higgs quotting the words of Paul in II Timothy 4:7-8a I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness. Pastor R.C. Higgs was a wonderful devoted servant of the Lord were going to all miss him.

Sister Brenda and Family, Our Prayers are with you during this time of reflection, celebration, and grief. As the Bible says we do grieve but not as those who have no hope (1 Thess 4:13-14). My Husband loved Pastor Higgs and always reflects on the impact that Pastor Higgs made in his life. I loved Pastor Higgs from the moment that I met him because of the tender love and concern he extended towards me when I moved here to be with my husband. Pastor Higgs will always have a special place in our hearts. Please be comforted in knowing that Pastor Higgs looked forward to being with the Lord. As he often said "This may be my last day...." and began to praise the Lord with all that he had!

To Sis. Brenda, Darren and Belinda and family. I know the peace of God will comfort you at this time. Thank you for sharing your parents and grandparents with the Bethel family for all those years. I will personally miss Pastor Higgs as he mentored me in many ways. To the Bethel family: I know you are hurting but let us find the strength Pastor Higgs instilled in each of us.

To Brenda and the family. My prayers certainly are with you through this season of sorrow. I have such fond memories of Rev Higgs from my youth up to recent times. What a godly example he was to all of us. I look forward to seeing him in glory and hearing that roaring voice again!

To Brenda and family, I thank GOD for Rev. Higgs. He was my first pastor in 2/1982 when I was converted. He loved to praise the Lord and dance and he was an inspiration.
