Richard "Dick" F. Krueger

April 21, 1937 - October 4, 2025

Shawnee, Kansas - Richard "Dick" Krueger passed away on October 4, surrounded by his loving family. Born 1937 to E.F. and Leona Krueger, he graduated from the University of Kansas in 1959. He then served in the U.S. Navy.

In 1966, he married Jane Ann Manske, his devoted wife of 59 years. Richard enjoyed a 35-year career in human resources. Richard played many instruments and after retiring, performed with several area bands. He and Jane enjoyed sailing. He is survived by his wife, Jane; son Carl Krueger and his wife Erin, grandsons Cooper and Henry; daughter Caroline Overton and her husband Kegan, grandsons Micah and Maddox; sister Karen Krueger.

Visitation will be Friday Oct 17 from 5–7 p.m. at Amos Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, Oct 18, 10 a.m. at Shawnee United Methodist Church, with graveside service at 3:00 p.m. in Yates Center Cemetery. Full obituary at www.amosfamily.com
