Olathe, Kansas - Richard Bentley Mettee, 93, of Olathe, KS, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

What do you say about an Uncle who was one of the kindest men I've ever met. He was a good man to everyone. He loved his family dearly. He always made us laugh. We'll miss you dear Uncle, soar with the Angels. Say hello to all our loves in Heaven. Until we meet again...love always Patti Ann.
