PRAYERS AND CONCERN FOR FAMILY MEMBERS DURING THEIR TIME OF SORROW.

J. Robert Murphy, Jr.

February 2, 2010

Linda and Nancy,
I have such fond memories of Bob Bingham from my childhood, as a minister at Wieuca, but more importantly, as one of the closest friends my father had for 40 years. His boundless energy, crack wit, and genuine love for all, made him a joy to be around. He was just a neat guy, and we will miss him. I know he has one of those big smiles now that he is reunited with your mother. I have attached a photo of the "Righteous Brothers" domino gang, one I treasure. Our prayers go out to the whole family.

Dear Linda and Nancy,
Your dad was one of the most entertaining persons I have ever known. I can still still remember the Saturday afternoon he jumped up from the domino table to demonstrate the Kilgore Rangerettes dance routine to Doug Maag. What a hoot! His deep and secure convictions enabled him to have fun without tainting the examples he set for all who knew him. I am so fortunate to have known him.
