Jessica is riding the bus to school and Kelly wants to walk her to the corner with Dad at 7AM. We both wave as she drives past. Kelly is nearly as tall as Jessica. I am grateful Dad got to meet her. At preschool they sent a note home saying they love her spunk. Dad would really get a kick out of these two now. They want to still ask about him and comfort me if they see I am still sad he is gone. They know I miss him. Still slow to get a web page together. Maybe soon.

I remember my first McDonalds french frie. It was with my dad at McDonald's 1st location on "O" street. I remember we were parked facing east, there were no drive throughs back then. My dad had bought extra fries for us. I thought I was so special sharing them with him. Some fries are best shared with the ones you love, those fries certainly were the best.

Friends and Family,
I will be working on a web page of photos and quotes to help remember my hero "Dad". In addition this quest book will be an easy place to leave notes or check status on up-coming family events.

I am one of "Martha's girls," one of the five snot-nosed little cousins who grew up just a couple of miles from his parents' farm. I remember when I was eight or nine, Robert, as we always called him, put me on the back of a horse bareback in the pasture and swatted the horse's rear. The horse took off and I clung on for dear life, totally terrified. I haven't been on a horse since. Robert greatly enjoyed life--he was definitely a participant, not a spectator, and you always know where he stood. He was instantly likeable and a great guy with a big heart. I'm sorry that we didn't keep in touch--it's my great loss.
My prayers and sympathies go to all of his family.

Bob was a true friend. He always said what was on his mind and was as honest with his friends as the day is long. I will miss him as I'm sure all his friends and family will. I share my deepest sympathies with you all. God rest my dear friend, Marv.

Words can not begin to express what I feel in my heart for Karen and family. Thanks to ties to Nebraska (Beatrice and Lincoln), I felt akin to Bob and Karen. You have many Friends who are thinking of you and continuing to remember you in our prayers.
