Robert L. DeLuca

Robert L. DeLuca, 75, of Weatherby Lake, Missouri passed away peacefully Monday, March 5, 2007 at St. Luke's North Hospital with his family by his side after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Wanda DeLuca; daughters, Linda DeLuca of Kansas City, MO, Sarah DeLuca Brack and husband Michael of Gladstone, MO, Sandra Gover and husband Michael of Cameron, MO; sons, Salvatore DeLuca and wife Paula of Harmony, NC, and Robert DeLuca, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Joseph DeLuca and wife Hanna of Chapel Hill, NC, SSG Seth Gover and wife Morgan of Fort Carson, CO, Matthew Williams of Kansas City, MO, Adam Gover and Lacey Clark of Cameron, MO, Justina DeLuca, Meghan Curtis, Jaimie DeLuca, Robert DeLuca III, all of Kansas City, MO and Emily Brack of Gladstone, MO and 7 greatgrandchildren. Bob was born in Raytown, MO, the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters born of Salvatore and Sarah DeLuca. As a U.S. Marine Corps sergeant, he saw action in the Korean War campaign. He and Wanda owned and operated DeLuca's Western Wear & Shoe Repair in Parkville, MO for thirty years. He was a member of Park Hill Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007 at Mt Moriah Terrace Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
