ROBERT V. HARMAN

1916 - 2012 Robert V Harman passed away February 19, 2012, in Napa, Calif. He was born Jan. 12, 1916, to Robert Valentine Harman and Ethel Elizabeth Lewis Harman in Kansas City, Mo. He attended Kansas City schools, graduating from Northeast High School in 1934 and the University of Missouri in 1937. He earned a master's from UMKC in 1962. He married his high school sweetheart, Florence Marguerite (Peggy) Walker Harman and joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent Accountant in 1941. They were stationed in Kansas City from 1947-1977. After 36 years with the FBI, Bob retired, moved to Sun City West, Ariz., and became an investigator for the Arizona Department of Public Safety. In 2007 they moved to Napa. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Peggy Harman of Napa, their three children, Robert Lewis Harman of California, William R. Harman of NY, Carolyn H. Peck (James) of California, their grandchildren, Robert Lee Harman (Janet) of Lee's Summit, Wayland Harman (Marla) of Idaho, Patty Harman Fox (Mike) of Marshfield, Carolyn Harman (Cindy) of Parkville, Jessica Harman of Massachusetts, Deryn Peck Milarezi (David) of Napa, Bryan Peck of Washington; great grandchildren, Stacy Hageman (Charles) of Olathe and Mark Harman (Amy) of Ohio, Rachel and Sarah Harman of Idaho, Mehgan, Lauren and Abby Fox of Marshfield, Jennifer Allton of Parkville, and great-great grandchildren, Lukas Harman and Dustin Harman. He is also survived by his in-laws, Robert E. Walker (Ramona) of Mission, Mort Walker of Connecticut, Marilou Walker White of Hawaii and numerous nieces and nephews.
