Bob was born on October 10, 1942 in Houston, TX, the son of Martha Slack Williams and Edgar Yoist Williams. Bob married Katherine "Kakie" Foote Williams on August 19th, 1964 in Baker, LA. They had four children - Stephen, Brian, Patrick and Jennifer.
Bob loved to read, do math problems on any scrap of paper available, eat lots of ice cream and tell really terrible dad jokes. Bob was an active and avid member of the John Knox Kirk Presbyterian Church in South Kansas City and he sang in the choir for a number of years.
