Ruby Stolov Krantz

Ruby Stolov Krantz, 86, of Kansas City, MO, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Holmesdale Care Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2005 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to the TAP Program at Village Shalom, 5500 W. 123rd St., Overland Park, KS 66209. Mrs. Krantz was a secretary for Sonken Galamba Steel Co. for many years, then was with the U.S. Navy and later the F.A.A. for over 25 years before retiring in the 1980's. She was a member of The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah, former member of Beth Shalom Synagogue, member of Marcella Rodin Auxiliary, Club 100, Hanick Family Club, Hadassah, the Civerettes and the Manual High School Alumni Association. Mrs. Krantz was born in Kansas City and was a life long area resident. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother: Leslie E. Stolov. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Manuel Krantz, of the home; sons: Bryan Krantz and Roger Krantz, both of Kansas City, MO; sisters: Edith Meyers, Overland Park, KS; Pauline Fish, Kansas City, MO; Trudy Glassman, Overland Park, KS; Bobbie Smith, Torrance, CA and Marlene Rafsky, Denver, CO. The family would like to thank the staff at Holmesdale Care Center for their care of Ruby these past months. Ruby's warmth, kindness & sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
