Kansas City, Missouri - On Friday, July 25th, Sanford Hartzler joined his heavenly family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Oak Tree Church, 24400 NE Colbern Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64086. In lieu of flowers please send/bring a memory object or a card describing a memory you have of him. We will have a table set up to share memories of Sanford and at the end the cards will go to Mary.

I loved that you were always my hero/protector. I remem
ber getting a thorn in my foot while outside playing when I was about 6. Since Daddy wasn't there you were the only one I would let touch it (and pull it out). You always kept me safe and loved.
