Sara Davidow

Sara Davidow, 95, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Village Shalom. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice or Village Shalom. Mrs. Davidow was a director and social greeter at Davidow Furniture and Benchmark Furniture. She was a lifelong member of Congregation Beth Shalom, its Sisterhood and Hadassah. Mrs. Davidow was a former member of Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Auxiliary, B'nai B'rith and the Jewish Community Center. She was born Sept. 20, 1911, the daughter of Morris and Rebecca Ginsberg and was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. Mrs. Davidow was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Morris, who died in 1983; four brother and three sisters. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Betty Davidow, Palm Dessert, Calif., Robert and Mimi Davidow, Mesquite, Nev., and Jerry and Liz Davidow, Leawood, Kan.; grandchildren, Sherril, Larry, Emily, Joshua, Jessica, Marissa and Jonas; greatgranddaughter, Abigail.
