I just now learned the sad news of Scott's passing. I simply do not have the words to express my feelings of lose. I have many delightful memories of Scott which even now make me smile. Scott was a groomsman at our wedding and the Barbershop Quartet sang. We will always remember his contagious laugh and mischievous smile.

Cindy and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Grant family at this sad private time.

To Scott's family, I am sorry to hear of Scott's passing and send sincere condolences. I came through SMS a few years behind Scott, but enjoyed his early legacy by singing in the third-generation barbershop quartet with Scott's brother Fred. The SMS alumni choir events over the past few years provided an opportunity for enjoying Scott's humor and spirit. I send my blessings for Scott, and to his family in comfort for mourning and in rejoicing for his life.

Scott's laugh resonates with me still. In high school, I loved going with Scott, Jeff, Shelby and Cary when they performed at the spaghetti restaurant downtown. Scott was so encouraging in high school choir and on our trip to Britain! He was a light.

There are so many memories of Scott that began in 8th grade, then high school choir, and on into the present. The friendship we began in our youth continued for 40 years. His smile, laughter, loyalty to friends and family is a wonderful legacy. I can smile knowing that he is now singing in heaven's choir with a mischievous grin on his face.
Mary - we've been friends since junior high, we went to the same church as kids, I babysat your children, I was in your wedding when you married Scott. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Mary and family...Our deepest and most sincere condolences. I truly enjoyed meeting Scott & dining together at the "fun" table while mom was at the sweet life. Although we had just got to know him, it was obvious what a warm, charming, and blessed family man he was. He will be truly missed. Steve & Lorene Merkel

Please know he enriched the lives of many over the years with his wonderful wit, sense of humor, and musical talent. You are all in my thoughts.

Mary and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Although we just met you and Scott this month, we treasure the encounter. My mother and I will always remember how his eyes sparkled when he was laughing. We will always remember having met you both. With kindest regards - BB and Kelly
