STAN RUBY Obituary

Stan William Ruby, 85, of Cleveland, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Menorah Medical Center. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 10th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., with a Scripture Reading at 11:30 a.m., followed by Graveside Service in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 22779 Metcalf, Bucyrus, KS, 66013. Stan was born October 3, 1926 in Kansas City, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Wea, KS, and founder of Stan Ruby Insurance Agency, Inc. He was an avid animal lover. Stan also loved to have BBQ with family, coffee with the boys, and chocolate on the side. Stan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elenora Ruby; son, Stan Wm. Ruby, Jr., and wife Leighanne; daughter, Theresa A. Ruby and husband Ross A. Gray; sisters, Frances A. Lucas, Mary Pat Walker, Dorothy Hickman; and brother, William J. Ruby. Stan will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. Condolences may be left online at www.mcgilleystatelinechapel.com.
