My dearest friend Syna. I feel horrible knowing that you are no longer here. We became friends in the 8th grade @ Pierson Jr High and our friendship grew well into adult life. We use to be so close. We use to do everything together. I had'nt seen you in a while due to our lifes being hectic. Even though we took different paths in life, you were always still my best friend. I wish things could be differnt. I was just informed today of what happened to you almost 2 months ago. I wish I could have been there to say my goodbye. But I know in my heart you are in heaven. May GOD Bless You!!!

Syna was an amazing person. Her smile and laughter could brighten even the darkest day. She had a warm loving heart and cared for her patients very well. At her funeral, it warmed my heart to see so many people who's lives she had touched - so many people came to pay their respects to such an amazing woman. Syna will be missed incredibly not only by myself, but by everyone who ever met her. My prayers are with not only her but her family in this time of loss

Dear Family-
I knew and worked with Syna and her precious grandmother when she was a student at Pierson Junior High, in Turner, Kansas. I was thrilled to learn that she pursued her career in nursing. I met Syna once with her daughter and knew then and through the years, how devoted she was to her children. I've kept up with her life through a wonderful friend and counselor to her, Nancy Moats. I truly believe Mrs. Moats was a wonderful guiding force and inspiration in her young life.
We don't know why someone so young is taken from us... the shock is overwhelming.
I do know that God in His infinite wisdom will find a place in heaven for Syna, where she will be in peace with the love of God and her loved ones surrounding her always.
My deepest sympathy.

Dear "Auntie" Syna,
I cried my little eyes out when mommy picked me up from school on Monday and told me that the angels had picked you up and took you to heaven... I'm still to young to understand why they took you, but mommy said you are resting in heaven looking down on us now...I promise I'll be good for my mommy as you always told me to do, and I can only hope that I can remain and build my friendship with Koren and be best of friends like you and my mommy, I will miss you auntie and love you with all my heart.
Your niece,

Dear Family,
We were so shocked to hear of Syna's death. We met when our son Andy was a patient in the burn unit ICU and Sydonie was orienting Syna. She then cared for Andy many times throughout his lengthy stay. She was an excellent nurse and a wonderfully caring person. We talked about her unusual name and about her kids, whom she loved very much. You have our deepest sympathies. I will ask the readers of our Caringbridge site to pray for the repose of her soul and for comfort to you, her survivors.

Dear Syna,
We were very sad when we found out about your unexpectedly death. With tears in our eyes we remembered your plans about visiting your grandparent’s and your father’s country and town together with your children. We remembered also all moments spent with you, our picnics and excursions without a thought that that was your last visit to Croatia, Duga Resa and your last moments spent with us. With grieve in our hearts we pray for you to find peace in eternity. You will always be in our hearts. We love you.
