Lee's Summit, Missouri - Taylor Rene Pennington, 29, of Lee's Summit, MO was born September 6, 1992. Taylor passed away March 2, 2022. Services will be at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 39th St., Independence, MO 64055, Wednesday , March 9th at 10am; interment at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8pm., Tuesday, March 8th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to The Compassionate Friends of Eastern Jackson County, 6200 Kentucky Avenue, Raytown, MO 64133.
Taylor was a 2011 graduate of Lee's Summit North High School and was working at Orange Theory Fitness, Lee's Summit, MO. In Taylor's own words, "her greatest accomplishment was being a mom to Ava", her pride and joy. Taylor will be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious personality, and her ability to find a friend in everyone. Taylor never knew a stranger, nor enemy. She was kind, loving, positive and always caring for others. Taylor was preceded in death by her brother Chason Alan Pennington and her grandfather Jeffrey Mann. Taylor is survived by daughter Ava Jayne Knoll, and her loving family, Todd Pennington, Shannon Pennington, Andre' Kulikov and her sister Avery Grace Pennington. Also surviving are maternal grandmother, Marilyn Mann of Lee's Summit, MO, paternal grandmother, Cheri Pennington of Kansas City, MO; her aunt Tricia Pennington of Independence, MO; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. The family would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers. The scripture from the Bible that Taylor always favored was the Proverbs 31 woman.
