Olathe, Kansas - Thomas Carder, 71, passed away in Olathe on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Born January 15, 1953 to Earl and Jean Carder in Kansas City, MO, Thomas graduated from East High School in 1971, N.W. Missouri State University in 1975, and received a graduate degree from UMKC in 1980. He taught in Nodaway Holt, MO 1977-1979. He taught in the Olathe School District 1981-2009. He married Lisa (Bergman) Carder on July 17, 1982. They had two children.
He is survived by daughter Katie Carder, Overland Park, KS; son James Carder, Lawrence, KS; sister Rhonda (Carder) Halliday, Houston, TX. For full obituary, see penwellgabelkc.com.
