Tom was an extraordinary good and kind man. I remember one evening in about 1950 or 1951 when Tom was on leave from the Navy and dropped by the our small one bedroom apartment to visit. Mom already had us kids in bed but I was able to sneak a peek at a nice looking young man dressed in his Uniform. Tom was a much loved cousin by my mother and our family. He rests in Gods grace now.
All our love to Beverly and family.

So sorry for your loss, Beverly, and family. Judge Sims was a great friend to Kansas City Legal Secretaries and we so enjoyed all the jokes and times spent with him. I remember the Christmas dinners at your place and the many Bosses Night dinners throughout the years at KCLSA. He taught us so much--I remember him teaching us when to use "The Honorable" and just "Honorable" before judge. A great man who is and will be very much missed.

Dear Sims family, I was honored to prosecute before Judge Thomas Sims as a young lawyer. It was a valuable learning experience. He always had my respect and the respect of my fellow attorneys. I used to remind him that people born on December 15 were blessed with great talent, since I share that birthdate. My condolences to Steve and the entire family.
