Vincent Servello Obituary
February 16, 1938 - September 15, 2024
Leavenworth, Kansas - Vincent Enricho Servello, Sr., 86, Leavenworth, Kansas (passed away peacefully) on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at Providence Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 14th, 2024 at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.
Vince was born in Kingston, PA on February 16th, 1938, the son of Elia and Anna Perugino Servello.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1955 serving almost 4 years. Following an honorable discharge from the Navy he enlisted in the Army in 1959. While serving in the Army, stationed in Kansas, he met the love of his life, Brenda Faye Richeson. They married on October 3rd, 1960. They shared a love of dancing, playing cards and family. Together they had 4 children, Sheila, Vince, Teresa and Tony.
He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda, parents Elia and Anna, brother Anthony, sister Marcella, granddaughter Gianna, eight nephews and one niece.
Vince is survived by his daughter Sheila (Bob) Mayes of Huntsville, Arkansas, son Vince (Melody) Servello, of Peoria, Arizona, daughter Teresa (Matt) Thomas of Kansas City, MO, son Tony (Alyssa) Servello, overseas, sisters Betty Schwartz, Kingston, PA, Connie Gerrity, Towanda, PA, Anna Kruika, Kingston, PA, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed and always loved by his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to any charity supporting Veterans or the American Lung Association.

Vince was a good friend when we worked together at Western Electric in Kansas City and was always in a good mood and fun to be around, he made a lot of friends and will be missed, I moved to Houston and lost touch with him in 72 and just heard about this, sorry to hear.
