Wanda Waugh Obituary

Wanda L. Stephens Waugh, 68, of Kansas City, MO, died Friday, September 5, 2003, at the Menorah Medical Center. A Celebration of her life will be Sunday, September 14, at 2 p.m. at Terrace Lake United Methodist Church, 4500 East Red Bridge Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Terrace Lake UM Church, Wayside Waifs or Kansas City Hospice. Mrs. Waugh was born April 17, 1935 in Clinton, MO. She was an active member of the Terrace Lake United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth Benton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also actively involved with her husband, Raymond L. Waugh in their family businesses. Wanda enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends, was an avid reader and especially enjoyed all types of animals. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Linn Waugh and Bill Pearce; sister-in-law, Sylvia Wehmeyer of Urich, MO; and her beloved cat, Alex.
