I was a member of Wayne's first assignment as a student minister to the Kelso Methodist Church when he was a student at Kansas State University. We dated at that time when I was still in high school. Visited his parents also. When I was a student at KU, his brother Wedell was my art/design instructor.
I have many fond memories of Wayne.
