WILLIAM (BILL) RICHARD CARVER William (Bill) Richard Carver, 72, passed away on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2014. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 15 at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Dr., Lenexa, KS 66227. Visitation will begin at noon with the service following at 1:00 p.m. Bill was born August 8, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to Denver and Juanita Carver. He graduated from Turner High School in 1960. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the 101st Airborne Division. Bill spent most of his career as a Boilermaker and member of Local 83 Boilermakers union in Kansas City, MO., retiring in 2003. Most recently, Bill was a member of Westside Family Church in Lenexa. An avid fisherman and golfer, Bill spent time in retirement supporting Boilermakers Local 83. An easy-going and considerate man, Bill was never one to complain. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia Carver of Olathe, KS, sons Daniel Carver of Denver, CO and Jonathan Carver of Olathe, KS, brothers Michael Carver of Edwardsville, KS and John Carver of Olathe, KS, sister Lori (Carver) Tull of Moore, OK and two grandsons in Denver, CO.
