Beau Ayers Obituary

Beau Justin Ayers
Born: August 17, 1976 in Geneva, IL
Died: September 3, 2025 in Mount Sterling, KY
Beau Justin Ayers, age 49, of Mt. Sterling, KY, entered eternal rest on September 3, 2025. Born in Geneva, Illinois, he was the cherished son of Susan and Richard Ayers.
Beau lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love. He found happiness on the water-whether water skiing, kayaking, or casting a line while fishing. A true lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed camping under the stars, snowmobiling across fresh trails and sports of all kinds, he especially enjoyed, football, basketball, hockey, and a good round of golf. His affection extended beyond people to the four-legged companions he adored, both dogs and cats held a special place in his heart.
As a master carpenter for over 30 years, Beau poured his talent and creativity into every project. Many homes and hearts now hold beautiful pieces built by his hands-works that were not just useful, but meaningful and cherished. Faith and kindness were at the center of Beau's life. He carried a warm and caring nature, always quick to share a smile or encouraging word. He loved people deeply, and his devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ guided his journey. Among his many adventures, traveling to Hawaii was a highlight he treasured.
Music was Beau's constant companion, and he had an extraordinary knowledge across every genre. Each day he delighted in choosing a "song of the day" for his family and friends, sharing melodies that reflected his love, his humor, or his heart. It was his way of staying connected, sharing pieces of his soul with those he loved most.
Beau is survived by his godfather Dave (Laura) Carey; uncle Bob (Sandy) Ayers; aunt Mary Carey; cousins Dan (Hollie) Carey; Lori (Louie) Lee; Debbie Webb; Rachel Jackson; Sarah (Matt) Hollis; Rebecca (Andrew) Massih; and Jessica (Blake) Rosenberg; his godmother Mary Strong; and his dear friend Charlie Parker.
He is reunited in Heaven with his maternal grandparents Robert and Angela Carey; paternal grandfather Robert Ayers; and loved ones Chuck Carey, George Carey, Mary Carey, Robert Carey Jr., and Michael Ayers.
A Celebration of Beau's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Jowett Family Funeral Home of Benzonia, MI.
