Eugene Francis Stuck, 91, formerly of St. Charles, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home in Libertyville, Illinois. He was born February 26, 1930 in Union Mills, Indiana, the son of Frank and Cecilia (Sujak) Stuck. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Helen Exline in 2009 after 57 years of marriage.
Eugene served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves and the U.S. Air Force. Eugene was employed as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Hudson Manufacturing Company before his retirement in 1995. During retirement, Eugene thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at Delnor Hospital in the patient services department.
Eugene is survived by his children Peter (Carol) Stuck of Hudson, Illinois; Rebecca (Duane) Cooley of Marion, Iowa; and Jonathan Stuck of Vernon Hills, Illinois; four grandchildren, Caleb (Shelbie) and Bryce Cooley, Nathan and Kevin Stuck, and one great grandchild, Tucker Cooley.
A private funeral service was held, and Eugene was buried in Burlington Union Cemetery, Burlington, Illinois.
