When Frank started on the Geneva Fire Department in 1967 I was a 11 year old neighbor kid who hung out at the fire station. Frank became a roll model and big brother figure to me and was patient with all my questions and included me in some of his daily activities. When I was a senior in high school I was able to work 40 hours a week at the fire station through a career training program which was a dream come true. This led to becoming the second full time firefighter. Frank taught me so much and tolerated a young energetic partner anxious for action ( think Barney Fife). It was a busy 5 years for big fires and I am proud to have rolled up on most of them at Franks side. Too many memories to list here, but what a great place and person to have mold you into a adult. I worked with Frank at the City of Geneva in the late 70's/early 80's when he was fire chief. Through him, I became friends with his lovely wife Kris. He was a wonderful, charming man, and will be greatly missed. My sympathy to Kris, family, and friends.

I was lucky enough to know Frank and had a working relationship with him for a number of years. Frank was very dedicated to the community.

Frank was Chief the few years I spent on the department as a "paid on call" firefighter in the early 80s. A very positive patient man who taught me life lessons that are still with me today.
