Jone Hall Dusek
In Loving Memory of Jone Hall Dusek
December 2, 1930 - April 22, 2025
Jone Hall Dusek, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born in Evanston, Illinois, on December 2, 1930, Jone lived a full and generous life rooted in kindness, resilience, and deep love for her family. She later made her home in Florida, where she continued to build lasting memories.
Jone's professional life was defined by service and compassion. She worked in a doctor's office, served with dedication in state government, and later shared her time and talents with the Lincoln Park Zoo-each role a reflection of her caring nature and vibrant spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Dusek. Jone leaves behind her sister, Lynn Martin; her children, Lee Ann and Mark; four cherished grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride. Her family was her greatest treasure, and her warmth, humor, and strength will remain a guiding light in their lives.
Jone's legacy is one of quiet generosity, fierce love, and joyful connection. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
