Ronald Johnson Obituary

Ronald E. Johnson
Born: December 30, 1931 in Sycamore, IL
Died: July 19, 2024 in St. Charles, IL
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald E. Johnson, beloved co-owner of Johnson's Statuary in St. Charles, who left us on July 19, 2024. Ron was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Born in 1931, Ron dedicated his life to his family and community. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, often seen watering his beautiful flowers or engaging in conversations with visitors at Johnson's Statuary. Ron had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went, always ready with a good story.
Ron's passion for his work at Johnson's Statuary allowed him to share his love of art and beauty with the community. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he inspired and the many friendships he cultivated.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Sunday, October 20th, from 1-4 P.M. at Cedar Fox Wedding & Events, located at 316 Cedar St. in St. Charles (the original Johnson's Statuary location). All are welcome to join the family in remembering a truly remarkable man.

RJ and family, my condolences on the loss of Ron. I always enjoyed stopping by the statuary and talking with Ron. He would often share some amazing stories and I enjoyed his interest in Native American artifacts. As I look out on my yard and the many statues I have there, I will remember him. May he rest in peace.
