Amber G. Scott

Amber G. Scott, 43, of Kearney passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services.

Amber was born August 24, 1981 to Darwin and Vicki (Markwith) Scott in McCook, Nebraska. Amber grew up in McCook and graduated from McCook High School. Amber enjoyed listening to music, shopping at thrift stores and collecting stuffed animals and dolls.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; siblings, Bobbi (Andy) Gillen, Jonathan Scott, Adam Scott, and Hannah Scott all of McCook; nieces, Zoe and Riliegh Carson; nephew, Kaleb Gillen; long-time friend, Jennifer Burkey of Kearney; as well as many extended family and friends.

Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Scott; grandparents, Dorrence and Virginia Scott and Jay and Darlene Markwith.
