Cora Mutchie Obituary
Services were April 3 at Providence Horizon House in Anchorage. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eddyville (Neb.) Cemetery.
Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 25, 1918, in Lomax, Neb.
In 1937, she married Luke Mutchie in Eddyville. He died in July 1990.
Survivors include her brother, George Biram of Denver; sister, Della Carnahan of Lincoln, Neb.; son, Robert Mutchie of Crescent City, Calif.; granddaughter, Charmagne Mears of Eagle River; grandson, Frank Mutchie of Anchorage; and great-grandsons, Nick, Garret and Drew.
She and Luke settled in Redding, Calif., in 1942 and raised their family. They were active in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. As a widow, she moved to Red Bluff, Calif., in 1992, then to Anchorage in 2002.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Tom Mutchie.

For our special Aunt, Great-Aunt, and Great-Great Aunt Cora she was so special to my husband Gerald Hanks. We were all so happy he got to see her before he was killed she was is little aunt Cora. We all loved her and will miss her very much. She is in Gods hands now and with Uncle Luke. Love Evelyn Hanks,Ivan, Krista, Harriet,Fonda and her sons Bryton, and Brady Hanks of Columbus Ne.
