Dear Marlene, Rodney and family: We´re very sorry about your Mom´s passing but so glad our world had her presence for 96 years. She was such a sharing lady of her time with 4-H and other organizations. As my sister Donna said, we have good memories of interactions with your Mom and Dad when we lived across the section from you north of Kearney. Our condolences to all her family.

I first met Edna when she came into the Aging office that I worked at. I had the pleasure of working for Edna about 5 years ago. I so enjoyed our conversations. Come to find out I knew a lot of the same people from living north of Kearney also. I was in awe of her spunk and determination. She was always dressed so sharp and her home nice and tidy. We both liked the Huskers and was topic of many conversations. When I think of Edna, I think of a life well lived. My sympathy to her family.
