Irene Lewandowski Obituary
GRAND ISLAND - Irene Lewandowski, 79, of Grand Island died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in Grand Island.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Abundant Life Christian Center in Grand Island with the Rev. Tim Rust officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.
She was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Farwell to Edward and Helen (Czapla) Waltman.
She married Al Lewandowski.
Survivors include her husband; sons and daughters-in-law, Loren and Barb Lewandowski of Grand Island and Scott Lewandowski and Heather Strait of Lincoln; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie Rawlings and Fred Hoppe of Lincoln and Alison and Pat Larson of Grand Island; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Dolores Waltman of Farwell and Larry and Dorothy Waltman of Omaha; grandchildren, Dustin and Nicole Lewandowski, Kiel Lewandowski, Jordan Rawlings, Ashlee Rawlings, Whitney Rawlings and fiancé Josh Dietrich, Karlie Rawlings, Andrew Rawlings, Hudson Lewandowski, Ethan Larson and Elijah Larson; and great-grandson, Jack Lewandowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Lisa Lewandowski.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
