A Celebration of Life Gathering and Memorial Book Signing for Judy M. Hunt will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, NEwith the family present.

Judy Marie Hunt, 79 years of age, of Fairmont, NE, formerly Holdrege, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Fairview Manor in Fairmont. Judy was born in Norwood, MO, on October 4, 1946, the fourth of seven children, born to Walter and Phyllis (Mulkey) Brewster. She received her education from Loomis Public School and graduated with the class of 1964. While in high school, Judy worked for Noble Drug. She pursued higher education and received a degree in Business from Grand Island School of Business.

On June 11, 1967, Judy was united in marriage to Randy Hunt in Loomis, and to this union two children were born, Tawnia and Brian. Judy worked for JC Penney, the Holdrege Chamber of Commerce, and CNPPID.

Judy enjoyed reading, Puzzles, and spending time with her family and playing games with them. She had a fabulous sense of humor, that will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Bernice Hunt; two brothers, Ronald L Brewster and his wife, Donna; and Johnnie R. Brewster as an infant; a sister, JoAnn Howsden and her husband, Robert; and two brothers-in-law, Johnny Nelson and Jim Fulmer.

Judy is survived by her two children, Tawnia Lee and her husband, David of Hebron, NE; and Brian Hunt of Lexington, NE; two grandchildren, Rachel Lee of Hebro, and Ryan Lee and his wife, Emily of LaVista, NE; one great-grandson, Derek Hazen; one brother, Robert Brewster of North Platte, NE; two sisters, Evelyn Nelson of Holdrege; and Carolyn Fulmer of Simla, CO; sister-in-law, Shana L. Hunt and wife, Karen of Holdrege; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial has been established in Judy's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
