Larry Evans Obituary
A traditional Catholic funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockville. The Mass will be livestreamed on the Higgins Funeral Home Facebook page.
Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Rockville with military honors by the Loup City American Legion Post 48.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Loup City with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Larry was born May 7, 1951, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Loup City to Mervin and Geraldine (Kowalewski) Evans.
He married Diane Mills on Sept. 11, 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; his children, Rob Evans of Phillips, Andy of Kearney, Beth Fowler of Loup City, Anne Marie Peterson, Denise Czaplewski and Stephanie Evans, all of Omaha, Theresa Ruge of Fairbanks, Arkansas, Tricia Kimzey of Merlin, Oregon, Nick Evans of Loup City and Mary Evans of Grand Island; his mother, Geri (Evans) Fletcher of Grand Island; brother, Randy Evans of Omaha; sisters, Cindy Ballard of Omaha and Aleyse "Christy" Erikson of Kearney; 31 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

My deepest sympathies go out to you Diane and the kids. Larry was a wonderful brother and I will always cherish the memories I had growing up with him.
