Roxanna M. Iosty
Roxanna M. Iosty, 75 of Riverdale passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Interment will follow at Riverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online ar www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services.
Rox was born May 5, 1949 in Kearney, NE to Clifford and Virginia (Roerich) Ackley. She was raised in Kearney and attended Kearney High School, graduating in 1968. She later attended Nursing School where she earned her LPN. On February 23, 1974, Rox was united in marriage to Gary Iosty in Kearney. The couple made their home in Riverdale where she worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for several years.
Rox was a longtime member of the Riverdale Christian Church. She enjoyed cross-stitching, flowers and tending to her flower garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary Iosty of Riverdale; sons, Clif Iosty of Wilcox and Keven (Stacie) Iosty of Kearney; granddaughter, Ashton Iosty of Kearney; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Rox was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosalie Headley; and her brother Larry Ackley.
