Seth Lueck Obituary
ORD - Seth David Lueck, 13, of rural Ord died Thursday, July 30, 2009, on the family farm southwest of Ord.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ord Christian Church with the Rev. Greg Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Ord City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the church.
Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 7, 1996, in Ord to David and Rachel (Underhill) Lueck.
Survivors include his parents; sisters, Celeste Lueck and her fiancé, Matt Mildenstein, of Santa Barbara, Calif., Carissa Lueck and her fiancé, Stuart Arndt, of Omaha, and Hannah and Bethany Lueck, both at home; grandmother, Susan Underhill of Riverdale; aunts and uncles, Ken Lueck of Sturgis, S.D., Vernon and Marietta Lueck of Grand Island, Charles and Flossie Lueck of Colorado Springs, Colo., Deanna and John Reynolds of Blue Springs, Mo., Gerald and Laurie Lueck of Doniphan, Denise and Kent Ketteler of David City, Duane and Laureen Krajnik of Ord, Mark Underhill of Lincoln, Sterling and Susie Underhill of Lynn Haven, Fla., Gretchen and Tim Hinkle of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Cynthia and Bill Hanus of Eagle; and a host of cousins and friends.
He was raised on the family farm southwest of Ord. He attended Vinton Rural School in the Mira Valley Township of Valley County. This fall, he would have begun the seventh grade.
He was a member of Ord Christian Church, where he was involved in the youth activities. He was a member of Boy Scout Pack 194, and he had been involved in 4-H. He was active in baseball, soccer and football.
His hobbies included camping, fishing, working with wood and building things on the farm, and riding his go-cart and motor bike. He especially enjoyed working on the family farm, especially with his animals, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Underhill; grandparents, Orville and Irlene Lueck; uncles, Enoch Underhill and Robert Lueck; and cousin, Jeffrey Lueck.
Memorials are suggested to Ord Christian Church or Boy Scout Pack 194.
