Shawn D. Goossen April 2, 1967 - February 10, 2025 passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2025 in Northglenn, Colo. at the age of 57.
He graduated from Kearney High School in 1985. He joined the Army right after high school and served eight years. He moved to Colorado and worked in the security and IT fields.
He enjoyed being with friends, had a sense of humor, enjoyed playing video games and loved going to Blackhawk to play the slots and was quite lucky most of the time.
He is survived by his sister, Shannon (Michael) McCarty of Pueblo West, Colo.; nephew, Logan; and niece, McKenzie.
He was preceded in death by his father, LaRue Goossen; mother, Esther Goossen; and both sets of grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
