Allen Todd Reinford

Allen Todd Reinford, the beloved son of Greg and Diane (Zimmerman) Reinford was born April 28,2022 in Nisland, SD. He was 16 months old when he was called home to heaven September 4th, 2023 after a sudden infection that is very hard to understand. Allen was a big boy and his family always thought he would take after Greg's grandpa Zimmerman who was known for his big hands and feet. Allen had a very distinct way of walking and swinging his arms that made the family think about his great grandpa. Allen was very cheerful and loved everybody. It was such fun to tickle him and toss him into the air to hear his contagious giggle. He loved to cuddle and look at books. When his Daddy was working with tools, it was common for Allen to imitate and try to carry tools around. He said a few words, with momma and dadda being the most common. Allen also enjoyed singing, his favorite song being "This Little Light of Mine." Allen's family is grateful for the blessing he was in so many wonderful ways. He will be greatly missed by his dad and mom, Greg and Diane Reinford of Nisland; his paternal grandparents, Wes and Carla Reinford of Nisland; maternal grandparents Alvin and Mary Zimmerman of Lucedale MS; paternal great grandparents, Martha Zimmerman of Paris, MI, Stanley and Esther Reinford of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; maternal great grandfather, Wayne Heatwole of Rosthern, SK; aunts and uncles, Eric and Janelle, Kendra and Sam, Emily and Brian, Lynn and Stephenie, Will, Lucy, Alisha, Tristan, Zach, Shawnda, Elsie, Matthew and Rosalyn, Nathan and Mary, Judith and Nevin, and Henry and Jolene; along with twenty four cousins. Allen was preceeded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Laban Zimmerman; his maternal great grandparents, Margaret Heatwole, and Clarence and Verna Zimmerman On Friday, September 8, 2023 visitation will be held at The Black Hills Mennonite Church from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 with the funeral taking place at 10am Saturday, September 9th at the Black Hills Gospel Assembly Church in Belle Fourche. Interment will be in the Black Hills Mennonite Cemetery.
