Amber Lynn Butz-Cipolla, 41, of Montgomery, IL passed away in Colorado Springs, CO on June 1, 2023.
Amber was born on November 15, 1981 in Aurora, IL to David & Donna (née Wilson) Butz. She graduated from Oswego High School in 2000. Amber worked as a nail tech before starting her own business, Blue Orchid Spa, in Binghamton, NY. Amber was a free spirit who loved to dance (especially belly dancing and fire dance) and spending time with friends and family.
Amber is survived by her parents Donna and Dave, her sister Sarah (Austin) Zack, her niece Danica and nephew Lincoln. Her paternal grandmother Eula Butz, aunt Donna Benter (Jimmy) and uncle Bill (Michele) Butz. Her maternal grandparents Louis and Dorella Wilson, aunt Evelyn (TJ) Schenk, uncle Richard (Peggy) Wilson, aunt Virginia (Bill) Wilson, and aunt Sandra (Rod) Taylor. Several great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amber is also survived by her husband Michael and her best friend/companion Blue.
Amber is proceeded in death by her paternal grandfather Donald Butz December 2004. Her great grandmothers Helen Wilson, Eleanor Hyte and Victoria Kleist.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S Douglas Road, Oswego, IL on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 4:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm.
