Clark Michael Gillespie (30 years) of Hoffman Estates passed away suddenly on October 20, 2021 .
He was born March 2, 1991 in Harvey, Illinois to Bertha "Bert" (nee Lipka) Gillespie and Clark T. Gillespie.
He lived in Hammond, Indiana, Homewood and Aurora, Illinois, and graduated from Oswego East High School, Oswego, Illinois in 2009.
Clark loved animals with all of his heart. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to music.
Clark was loved and will be truly missed by his entire extended family.
He is survived by his grandmother Shirley Collie, his step-father Douglas Collie, his siblings Brandon White, Meghan Collie, Brandon Collie and Ryan Gianni, his aunts and uncles Debbie (Bob) Lovell, Joanne (Dirk) Benson, Carol (Brian) Drendel, Stephen (Susan) Collie, Catherine (Michael) Gilbert, Ellen(Timothy) Baffa, Madge Lipka and Jennifer (Enrique) Pena, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Clark was preceded in death by his grandparents Clark F. Gillespie, Norma Jeanne Gillespie, Bruno Lipka, Dorothy Lipka and James Collie, his father Clark T. Gillespie, his mother Bertha Gillespie Collie, and his older brother Ryan White.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL60543
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.ASPCA.org.

Hearing the news of Clark´s sudden passing was shocking and heartbreaking. Clark was one of the kindest and funniest people either of us have ever met. When he was in the room everyone was laughing. Clark was and always will be a major part of our lives and he will be greatly missed.
