Judith Ann "Judy" Hachmeister, age 57, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Monday, September 4, 2017 at her residence.
She was born July 8, 1960 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Delores nee Case Elliott. Judy worked as a social worker for Sandwich Community Unit School District #430. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering for Rainbow Hospice and Almost Home Kids. She loved shopping and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Judy was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aurora, IL.
She is survived by her husband of almost 37 years, Jon Hachmeister of Oswego, IL; daughters, Amber (Tony) Luna of Romeoville, IL, Clarissa (Eddie) Crombie of Channahon, IL, Gloria (Zach) Howell of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Angeline, Ella, Anthony Jr., Aubrey, Nathan and twins Jolena and Savanna; and a sister, Rosemary (Jean) Deters of KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Susan Dawson.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Road, Aurora, IL 60504.

Mrs Hachmeister was my son's social worker. I had many good talks with her. She was the sweetest, most soft spoken woman I have ever known. When we heard she was sick we began praying for her. Our sincere sympathy to her family. She will be missed and fondly remembered.
