Millard E. Wilson

Millard E. Wilson, age 76, a resident of Oswego formerly of Elmhurst IL passed into eternal life on November 20, 2015.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marlene. He was the father of four children, Debra, Ilene, Scott and David. He had eleven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by four step-children, Charles(Tiffany) Ray, Chris(Kristine) Ray, Jennifer(Greg) Donovan and Jamie(Amy) Ray; as well as ten grand children, Abby, Lauren, Amanda, Ashley, Devin, MacKenzie, Ryan, Nick, Jack and Olivia. He is also survived by a sister, Phyllis Kozak; a sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Alex Karpy, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

Millard was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Chicago as a young man. He then moved to Milwaukee, WI where he raised his family. He returned to Illinois and worked as a machinist for many years retiring in 2001. After retirement he spent time working in his garden planting vegetables especially heirloom tomatoes. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed historical mysteries and books on Christian religion. His passions were woodworking and cooking. He was a dedicated member of St. Anne's Parish.

His wish was to donate his body to the Anatomical Gift Association of IL for medical research.

A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held at a future date.
