Neville Moment, age 84, of Plano, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on December 17, 1932 in Bangalore, India the son of Charles T. and Phyllis (Asprey) Moment.
Neville was united in marriage on February 24, 1962 to Celine Olive Marazzi and they spent the next 55 happy years together. Mr. Moment was employed for many years as a Chrome Plater at National Metal Wares in Aurora, IL. Neville was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Neville is survived by his wife, Olive Moment of Plano, IL; his children, Sandra Moment of Plano, IL and Christopher (Lisa) Moment of Yorkville, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew (Stephanie) Moment, Jonathon and Rebecca Moment; his sister, Kathleen (Leonard) D'Silva of Australia; several nieces and nephews; also a family friend, Scott Seaton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John (Esmeralda) Moment; and his sister, Blanche (Colin) Stewart.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL with Deacon Doug Wells, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
