Robert Lee Dorsett, age 62, of Sycamore formerly of Sheridan, IL died suddenly on September 7, 2023, at his residence. He was born December 26, 1960, in Ottawa, IL the son of the late Charles William and Lois Joan nee Gwin Dorsett.
Robert was a proud graduate Husker from Serena High School in Serena, IL.
Robert is survived by his sister Brenda Lee (Steve) Wing-Rose of Spokane, WA, and brother Michael (Diane) Severns of Plano, IL. He was preceded by a brother, William Dorsett.
A private family graveside service was held at the Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan, IL.
Memorials may be directed to either Sheridan United Methodist Church, 219 S Bushnell St, Sheridan, IL 60551, or the food bank of the donor's choice.
Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home, 333 W Church St, Sheridan, IL was entrusted with serving the family.
