Ronald L. Wheaton, 81 years of Yorkville, IL died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born August 13, 1939 in Aurora, IL the son of the late Lloyd and Beatrice nee Sherwin Wheaton.
He was a member of the AuSable Grove Presbyterian Church, Knollwood Gun Club, National Rifle Association. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was the owner of M&W Construction Co. AKA M&W Enterprises for many years within the local area.
Survivors include his wife Charlene nee Ringberg Wheaton, son Randy "Casper" (Dawn) Wheaton of Yorkville, IL; three grandchildren Cory (Samantha) Davis of Sheridan, IL, Remington Wheaton of Sheridan, IL, Dallas Wheaton of Yorkville, IL; two great granddaughters Elynor and Charlee Davis both of Sheridan, IL, two sisters Betty Gurley of Yuma, AZ, Carol Borneman of Davis Junction, IL, several nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tammi Wheaton, a sister Bonnie Williams, four brothers Dick, Ed, Karl, and Dennis Wheaton.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the AuSable Grove Presbyterian Church, Grove/Wheeler Rds., Yorkville, IL from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jenny Hubbard officiating. Burial will take place at the AuSable Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to either the Kendall County Food Pantry, 208 Beaver St., Yorkville, IL 60560, or the charity of the donor choice.
Services are entrusted to DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY of Oswego, IL.
