Sherry Lee Ritchey, age 68 of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on July 10, 1956 in Elgin, IL.
Sherry was employed for 25 years for Air Rite, Aurora, IL a local heating and air conditioning company. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Sherry is survived by her brothers, Richard (Donna) Flannery of Osford, FL and George Hennig of Yorkville, IL; her sister, Holly (Mark) Hennig-Bruno of Naperville, IL; also her nieces and nephews, Melissa and Shannon Flannery, Daniel and Kyle Flannery, and Travis and Jarrett Bruno.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty (Teeters) Hennig; also her brother, Harold E. Flannery.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Homes, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Monday, January 20, 2025 at the funeral home in Yorkville, IL.
