Amber Hanson Obituary

Amber Isadora Hanson

December 19, 1976 - September 7, 2025

Amber Isadora Hanson (Galovich), 48, of Kansasville, Wis., was born in Waukegan, Ill., on December 19, 1976, and left this world on September 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving parents, Lisa and Larry Pitts; her two children, Jacob Hanson and Karma Hanson; her partner in life, Rob DeDecker; her sister, Michelle Krachey; and her nephew, Zachary Krachey. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large, loving extended family.

Amber was a wonderful mother to two beautiful children who reflected the best in her. She preferred to keep things simple and was an independent, straightforward person who valued her privacy.

Amber had a loving, compassionate heart with a genuine concern for the well-being of everyone around her. She was a fun-loving person with an infectious laugh; when she walked into a room, it would light up with her bubbly personality.

The legacy of Amber's life is one of love, courage, and strength that knew no bounds. In her own words, she said, "My kids are my greatest accomplishment," and that she was "perfectly blessed in all God has offered."

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Hospice Alliance for the compassionate care they provided to Amber.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 3 to 7 p.m.

A Facebook event will be created and shared with more details.
