Bill Flatley

1957 - 2015

Bill Flatley, 58, a resident of Kenosha passed away Aug. 22, 2015, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie after battling cancer.

Bill was born on March 23, 1957, in Kenosha to the late William Flatley II and the late Shirley Culley Flatley.

He attended St. Thomas, St. Joes and Tremper High School.

He served in the military, worked at American Motors, went to college and became a barber. He was employed at Plaza Barber Shop for over 30 years.

Bill was a proud grandfather and loved his grandchildren very much.

He was a good soul and very old school. He was known to help people whenever possible. He was a great father and will be missed by his children,

He loved to watch football and baseball. He was an avid Packer and Cubs Fan.

He put others before himself and always tried to do the right thing. He was always busy and only slowed when his illness progressed.

He is survived by his son William Thomas Flatley IV; his daughter Rose A. Flatley-Vizenor and grandchildren Rory; Charlotte. Bob-O and Christian. He is further survived by a sister Michele Flatley, and two nephews Sean Flatley and Allen Hoff.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald Flatley.

A visitation with the family will be on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Our lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha. A prayer service will conclude the evening at 7 p.m.

Please omit flowers; memorials to the family would be appreciated.
