1951 - 2017
Carol Schwer, 65, of Pleasant Prairie passed away peacefully on Friday Feb. 24, 2017, at UHS-St. Catherine's surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born on May 26, 1951, in Kenosha, the daughter of Gerald and Clarice (Zapf) Ingwersen. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married Michael Schwer June 19, 1982, in Kenosha. Carol was employed as a waitress for 12 years at Spaghetti Station and later worked at the customer service desk at Supervalu. Her hobbies included cooking, bird watching, feeding animals, enjoyed the autumn colors, wax warmers, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Schwer of Kenosha; mother, Clarice Ingwersen of Kenosha; children, Scott (Jamie) Krohn of Onalaska, Wis., Stacie (Mark) Ziehr of Kenosha, Adam (Loretta Turner) Schwer of Kenosha; sister, Joy (Mike Cheney) Wolfe of Merrill, Wis.; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Gerald.
Visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 5 p.m.
