March 4, 1934 - November 12, 2025
Casimir Sagan, age 91, passed away on November 12, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center Kenosha. He was born on March 4, 1934 in Oak Creek, Wis. Casimir was the son of George and Josephine (Kubacki) Sagan. He attended schools in Milwaukee, Wis., area and graduated from South Milwaukee High School. Casimir served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959. On August 8, 1959 he married Ellen Mattner in Canton, Ohio.
Casimir worked at AMC/Chrysler for 36 years, retiring in 1989. He also worked as a lineman at L.E. Meyer. Memberships included the Moose Club, the Elk Federation RMEF, and Union Local 72 Retirees. In his spare time Casmier enjoyed woodworking, gardening, sport hunting and tournament fishing on Lake Michigan.
He is survived by his wife Ellen of Kenosha; his son Keith Sagan of Prescott, Ariz.; and his daughter Julie Weekly of Colorado Springs Colo.
Services will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, November 21st at 1 pm. Please arrive at the cemetery parking lot no later than 12:45 pm.
