Chester L. Burchfield

Chester L. Burchfield, 72, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at his home in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.

He was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle and loyal friend, who enjoyed helping his neighbors. He was an avid fisherman that loved fishing and camping with his grandson Michael and stepson Joe.

He was preceded in death by mother and father, Novell and George Burchfield; sister, Pauline and brothers, Charles Lester, John, Glenn, Mont., and Wayne Burchfield.

Survived by devoted wife of 30 years, Donna Burchfield; daughter, Gloria Hatcher of Tennessee; son, David Burchfield of California; stepson, Joe Stock of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michael Stock, Dillon Hatcher, Rachel Risher, and two great grandsons; sisters, Ailene Willis, Lorene Willis, and Paulette Suttles; brothers, George, Ola, Gordon, Granville, and Avery Burchfield; special niece, Jennifer Suttles and many beloved nephews, nieces and friends. As a celebration of his life, Chets ashes will be returned to his birthplace on Parson Branch in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected]. Chester & Donna always were there for anyone that was in need. Grocries, go to get the 1st strawberries of the year , the pastry 1x a year {pulashky day?]would always make sure if we wanted some and what filling!! If we
needed a ride for a Dr.'s app. or pick up our car from the shop,need something fixed at our home, you'd know who to call. Chester and Donna.
